Hampton, Virginia – January 31, 2007 – SOLUS Solutions and Technology, LLC, with offices in Hampton and Virginia Beach, Virginia and Silver Eagle Manufacturing Company, Portland, Oregon, have reached an exclusive licensing agreement, granting Silver Eagle the rights to manufacture, sell and support certain trailer aerodynamic products developed by SOLUS.

The partnership covers class 6-8 truck applications in the United States. Products will be co-branded “Silver Eagle” and “Powered by SOLUS”, and include Vortex Strakes, Cross Flow Vortex Traps, Mini-Skirt Trailer Fairings, Wake Boards and Frame Extensions.

According to the US Department of Energy, class 8 trucks account for up to 12% of total U.S. petroleum consumption.  The licensed SOLUS innovations employ advanced military aircraft technology in a practical package to provide greater than 10% improvement in fuel economy.

Silver Eagle will be roll out the SOLUS innovations at the American Trucking Associations Technology and Maintenance Council Annual Meeting/Expo in Tampa, Florida February 6-8, 2007 and at the Mid-America Truck Show in Louisville, Kentucky March 22-24, 2007.
